The underside of the Curta is marked Type II No 548108 Made in Liechtenstein (Customs Union with Switzerland) by Contina Ltd Mauren System Curt Herzstark.

Regency Sewing Table c1810

A Regency sewing table of well figured mahogany with rectangular top and ebony stringing to the sides.

The table has a deep oak lined drawer at each end under which is a fixed pleated silked sewing box.

Regency Sideboard c1830

A Regency period, mahogany veneered, twin pedestal sideboard. The 'D' shaped top with ledge back has 3 frieze drawers with sunk panel fronts between inversely tapered pedestals.

Each pedestal has a drawer with panelled cupboard under, located between sunk panelled pilasters, all standing on large bun feet. The left-hand cupboard has a cellaret drawer within.

The sideboard measures 85¼“ wide, 24½“ deep and 40¼” high

This, our final newsletter has been compiled on a beautiful sunny day - it looks as if spring has finally arrived. Projects for retirement are trips out in an early 1960's sports car (an MGA), working in the greenhouse & garden, and overhauling a Eureka clock that I bought recently. We have enjoyed dealing in clocks and horological books over the last 30 years because of the many interesting people we have met - some in person, some online and some on the telephone.
