Rudolph (J.S.): Make Your Own Working Paper Clock
O/P. 40 pages, illustrated, 1983. The preface, by Isaac Asimov, is followed by instructions and pages of thick card which when cut out and assembled make a working weight-driven pendulum wall clock - all you need to complete the clock is wire (for the arbors), glue, string and sand (for the weight). Rycroft (C.H.): Thomas Lister 1745 - 1814 The Thomas Listers, Clockmakers
O/P. 18 pages, 10 pages of plates, 1976. Thomas Lister senior (1717 - 1779) worked at Luddenden, then moved to Halifax in 1765 where Thomas, his son (1745 - 1814), joined the business. They made some fine clocks including one with a planisphere and musical examples. Fine copy, card covers. (Ref: K4912 - BX3)
