Watchmaking
Sadly George Daniels died peacefully at home in the Isle of Man on 21st October 2011. Daniels' legacy to the world is the co-axial escapement and his books will be a lasting memorial to a great horologist. This is a superb book, which explains in detail how to design and make all the parts of a watch. Daniels' aim in writing the book was to inspire and encourage the art of watchmaking - the aim has been achieved as the book has been constantly in demand since it was first published in 1981. This edition has an additional portrait of Daniels and 3 new plates (numbered 0, 23 & 24). With dust jacket. New copy. 420 pages, portraits, 25 plates, 777 figures, 4th edition, 2011 £50.00 Order Here
