Thomas Cole, London c1853 A small 30-hour oval strut timepiece made by Thomas Cole, London and retailed by Dent, Cockspur Street, London. The clock has an engraved and silvered dial measuring 3¼ x 2¼ inches with the retailer's name Dent, Cockspur Street in a cartouche above 12 o'clock.The case height is only 4½ inches.
Thomas Cole, London c1861 A large 8-day oval strut timepiece made by Thomas Cole, London and retailed by Hunt & Roskell, London. The clock has an engraved and silvered dial measuring 6¾ x 5½ inches with the retailer's name Hunt & Roskell London in a cartouche below 6 o'clock. Case height 10¼ inches.
Thomas Cole, London circa 1863 A good 8-day rectangular strut timepiece made by Thomas Cole and signed on the rear of the case C.F. Hancock. Son & Co. 39, Bruton Street, London. The timepiece has an engraved and silvered dial with blued steel hands. The case has retained some of its original gilding, the dial has been re-silvered.
English Carriage Clock c1850 A small English gilt carriage clock, with subsidiary dials for day and date, and striking the hours and half hours on a gong. The engine turned case has retained its original gilding. Case height 6¼ inches including handle.
