Mahogany Tea Table c1800
 

A George III mahogany 'D' shaped tea table with reeded edge moulding.

The tapering legs are of an unusual shape with reeded decoration to the legs and fluted feet - see picture below.

When the table is closed as shown in the first picture its measurements are:

Width: 36¼ inches             Depth:  18¼ inches closed               Height:  29 inches

This next picture shows the tea table open.  Its measurements when open are:

Width: 36¼ inches                              Depth: 36½ inches                            Height:  29 inches

This shows part of one of the legs. Notice how the leg is tapered and has reeded decoration.

Also note the unusual shape at the bottom of the leg.
