The instrument has a black painted tube with a thermometer mounted on the front. The barometer scale reads from 27 to 32.5 inches of mercury, the thermometer scale from 25 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit. The instrument is mounted on a mahogany backboard with white reflectors to improve reading accuracy. Backboard size 44 inches x 5½ inches. The barometer has a replacement glass reservoir. Below you can see the thermometer, the lower part of the barometer and the name on the silvered scale. |
