The 4½-inch diameter silvered dial is signed Barraud 41 Cornhill London 2012 and has subsidiary dials for seconds and state of wind. The blued steel hands are original.

The best reference to Barraud’s work is the book by Cedric Jagger - Paul Philip Barraud, A study of a fine Chronometer Maker 1750 - 1929 published in 1968 with an addendum published in 1979.
