Henri Jacot, Paris c1910 A good French striking carriage clock by Henri Jacot, in a gilt gorge pattern case. The clock has a rectangular enamel dial, a platform lever escapement and strikes the hours and half hours on a gong. The clock retains its original gilding and has been cleaned and overhauled. The winding key is a replacement. Height including handle 6¾ inches. |

The movement backplate has the Jacot stamp and is engraved with Jacot’s serial number 16990 and Made in Paris indicating that it was made for the British market. | |
